Newsletters are about presenting information. They are typically multi-page documents (though some 1-pager newsletter exist) whose aim is to inform their readers about past, current and future happenings that enhance their understanding about their organization, club or group. Though weaving a company's visual identity (via graphic elements, color, fonts, and imagery) into, and throughout, the document is important, the objective is really to educate or inform, and in cases of editorial pieces about culture and such, they aim to influence opinion. Newsletters can be printed and mailed, sent out digitally as a PDFs, or presented on a website.
