Website Design
Traditional HTML/CSS Websites
I started learning HTML around the year 2001. I really enjoyed the interactive nature of website design and decided to commit myself to getting into this profession, so I enrolled in the Internet Technologies Fast Track Program at Centriq IT Training. This was a 10-week course, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm (300 classroom hours) during Fall, 2002. This was kind of like a full-time job for 2-1/2 months. A few years later, I recognized the importance and prevalence of using CSS to not only control global site styles, but also the power of controlling layouts and developing navigation/menus. From then until around 2015, I worked hard to learn traditional coding, using Adobe Dreamweaver. I never worked for a website design company, but was able to design many websites over the years as a freelancer. All of these sites were designed prior to 2015.
